In "The First 90 Days", Watkins talks about the 10 big challenges leaders need to help transition into higher management. One of them is understanding how to diagnose an organization's problems. The book was letting people know how to become accepting and to know what kind of job they are getting into. There are a few do's and don'ts when it comes to a boss. You should know how they are and how they operate, you shouldn't surprise them or approach them with problems that aren't appropriate, but you should make a good impression with ones your boss respects.
